Freya's story
I was caught up in the London Bridge & Borough Market terror attack in June 2017. The experience had a severe impact on my daily life as I struggled with the effects of PTSD, what felt like every minute of every day - it was relentless.
Accessing mental health support wasn’t easy. I was fortunate to access private therapy and later found support a specialist charity. But even with this support, daily life was still incredibly hard to navigate. My journey took me to some dark and challenging places.
I searched everywhere for a digital tool to help, but nothing met my needs. It took over two years of trial and error, self-help and perseverance to learn how to manage my mental wellbeing and start to thrive again.

Along the way, I learned how many millions of people are affected by PTSD but most will never receive any professional support.

This has to change.

In 2020, I decided to fuse my personal experience with my professional expertise in business & technology together to found remind health.
Because I believe everyone should have access to the tools, insights and resources they need to rebuild life from trauma.

Bridging the support gap
Over 3 million people in the UK have PTSD, affecting individuals, families, and workplaces. Yet only 1 in 4 get professional help.
Whether you're someone who hasn't accessed professional support for whatever reasons, or you have but still need help at 3am, during a panic attack, or while waiting between appointments - support should be available when you need it most.
That's why we exist. Tools that work when people need them, day or night - whether you're an individual seeking personal help or an organisation supporting your teams.
We're also bridging the research gap. Despite affecting millions, just £400k is spent on PTSD research annually in the UK. We're using real-world data and technology to better understand trauma and improve support for everyone.
